We are once again a participating Project Linus Make a blanket Janome Dealer! Please be aware of the following for the 2007 blanket collection.

• Collection of linus blankets will begin on January 2, 2007.
• Minimum blanket size is 36"x36".
• One drawing raffle ticket will be provided to each volunteer "Blanketeer" per qualified blanket donated.
• A 'Make A Blanket Day' will be held on February 17, 2007 for anyone wishing to come in and spend time on a blanket at our shop.
• Drawing for a Janome model DC3050 sewing machine will be held on close of business February 17, 2007
• No Blankets will be accepted for 2007 after February 17, 2007.

The winner of the Waddington Sewing Center Project Linus 2006 Janome DC3050 Drawing was Joy Caton from Wanakena, NY. Congratulations Joy!
Quilts received in 2006 were donated directly to local organizations in need of blankets. They were distributed for us by Martha Sinkeldam from Madrid, NY.

Our youngest "Quilter" Amdrew Butler donated two polar fleece blankets that he hand tied the edges.

Alice hands over donated quilts made by local quilters in 2004 to Janet Burl, the area Project Linus Coordinator. Quilts received in 2005 were donated directly to local Fire Stations, Rescue Squads and Nursing Homes. They were distributed for us by Martha Sinkeldam from Madrid, NY.
